Coathangers explained

“Wishbone” shaped hangers All our wooden hangers are the more luxurious “wishbone” shape. This enables the hanger to follow the shape of the body and protects the integrity of the clothing. An additional benefit is that the “wishbone” shape allows the hangers to nest together to save valuable wardrobe space.
Hanger Dimensions Our hangers are designed to fit most wardrobes and are suitable for most items of clothing. For your added convenience, we have included the approximate width dimension for our hangers to help you visualise the size of the hanger.
Hooked Hangers The open hook design is the most widely used, and is usually referred to as a “hooked” hanger. It is the most common type of hanger and can simply be placed / hooked over the wardrobe hanging rail. They are not theft proof and are designed to be easily removed.
Security Hangers These are also known as “anti-theft” hangers. These hangers have a security stem and can only be used in conjunction with security rings. The unique design of our security rings allows users to easily remove and replace the hangers when using them. However, if the Security Hangers are removed from the security ring they can not be used. This last feature helps deter these hangers from being stolen.
Security Rings There are two types of security rings; both of which are designed for use in conjunction with the Security Hangers. (Security Rings are not needed for Hooked Hangers). The Plastic Snap-On Captive Security Ring is designed to be fitted onto existing wardrobe hanging rails and negates the need to remove the hanging rail to fit. The Metal Captive Security Ring is for use in situations where the hanging rail can easily be removed. Both types of security ring are specially designed to be user friendly and are user facing. Please note that Security Rings are not needed for Hooked Hangers.
Wooden Hangers (without skirt clips) Our hangers have a hanging bar with a non-slip rubber insert which helps ensure that trousers do not slip off the hanging bar and helps reduce creasing. The sturdy “wishbone” shape makes these hangers ideal for hanging shirts, jackets, and tops.
Wooden Hangers with Skirt Clips These wooden hangers with skirt clips feature a set of cushioned “anti-crush” skirt clips in order to protect garments. These clips can be positioned to make it simple to hang skirts, trousers, or strapless garments. The clips can also be used for hanging other items such as laundry bags in guest accommodation.
Padded Hangers These hangers are designed for luxurious and delicate garments. The padded body ensures a soft surface for the garment to rest upon; and the satin finish gives a luxurious feel. This type of hanger is particularly popular with ladies. It is ideal for light jackets, tops, and shirts. These hangers are not suitable for trousers or skirts.
Polypropylene “SuperTuff” Hangers These are designed for use in more commercial environments including changing rooms, locker rooms, and cloak rooms. Being light weight they are also suitable for use in aircraft and ships. These hangers are moulded to follow the shape of the body and have a special contoured shape. For added convenience they also feature skirt hooks. This versatile hanger is suitable for most garments.
